Mnemonic for Murphy's sign

Murphy's sign is elicited by direct palpation of the right upper quadrant and asking the patient to breathe deeply. An abrupt arrest (CEASE) of breathing during inspiration due to pain is a positive Murphy sign and is seen ONLY in acute cholecystitis.
.

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ“˜Cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder that occurs most commonly because of an obstruction of the cystic duct by gallstones arising from the gallbladder (cholelithiasis).
.
I stopped mixing up my "Murphy" after this ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ and I hope it helps you too๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ
