According to a source, the widow just returned from church on Saturday morning at about 5.30am in company of her son and her sister in the car when the hoodlums stormed their compound.

The source said, "they were coming from the church vigil on Saturday morning, as the gate was opened for them to go into the compound, the armed men came in with them. They asked the son and her sister come down from the vehicle and drove only her (Adeyeye) away."

When contacted, the Public Relations Officer of the state Police Command, Mr Femi Joseph, confirmed the development and said the state command had begun investigation into the matter.

Thus far, the kidnappers are yet to make contact.
