A New Case of Ebola in Liberia

Ebola has re-surfaced in Liberia with one confirmed case, according  to the World Health Organisation.

Liberia had been declared free of the deadly virus in September.

This report is coming as Guinea the last country with Ebola cases had just commenced its 42 day waiting period, to be declared Ebola-free. Sierra Leone was declared free this month.

Since the beginning of the outbreak, Liberia has registered more than 10,600 cases and 4,808 deaths, the UN health agency said this week.

Sad news!
