World Medical Asoociation To Meet in Zambia

Yes, yes!  The World Medical Association (Council) Meeting 2017, is billed to hold in Zambia. This makes Zambia the 2nd African country after South Africa to host the meeting.

The WMA council meeting is a world event that provides ethical guidance to doctors. This year, the council was held in Oslo, Norway at which Zambia was voted to host the event.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Kayode Obembe, president of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), was also elected as Council Adviser of the World Medical Association (WMA) at the meeting in Oslo.

About 600 delegates are expected to attend the meeting in Zambia.

Hopefully, I'll be there. Fingers crossed.
