Nigeria: Female soldier allegedly chokes student to death

A secondary school student in Kaduna, Nigeria  was allegedly choked to death by a female soldier.

Dan Azumi, 14, a JSS 3 student of the Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria, Nigeria allegedly died after being choked by a female army officer.

According to Hamza's father, his son had confided in him that he had received threats from the female soldier.

An autopsy report by the Head Pathologist at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Shika, Zaria Professor Shehu Mohammed Sani, revealed that the teenager died of blockage of the air passage to his lungs --he was choked to death.

The case is currently open in the Federal High Court, Kaduna and Justice Evelyn Anyadike adjourned the case to May 8 for the opening defence.

Just thinking: why would a grown woman threaten a teenager and then go further to choke him?
Well, if she is guilty, she should do the time.
