Fans Sue Manny Pacquiao For Concealing Shoulder Injury Before Fight

Manny Pacquiao, the Phillipino boxer who lost the "Fight of the Century" to Floyd Mayweather has been sued in a US court by two people who feel defrauded by his failure to disclose he had a shoulder injury before the fight.

The lawsuit was filed by Stephane Vanel and Kami Rahbaran in a Federal Court in Nevada.

If you recall, after the fight, Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum had said "Pacquiao had been hampered by an 'old' injury to his right shoulder."

It was later revealed that, neither Pacquiao nor his team informed the Nevada Athletic Commission about the shoulder issue until a couple hours before the start of the fight when they asked for an anti-inflammatory injection.

Also, when Pacquiao's team filled out its pre-fight medical questionnaire, a query about any shoulder injury was marked "No" before the form was then signed by Pacquiao and his adviser.

Vanel and Rahbaran are seeking compensation under laws meant to protect consumers and hope to represent other fans, ticket buyers, pay-per-view television viewers and people who gambled on the fight.

Poor Manny, first a loss and now this. I feel really bad for him and hope his purse does not get drained if he loses this suit too.

Hope his shoulder heals well too.
