NDLEA opens online drug counselling platform

The Nigerian National Drug Law Enforcement Agency now has an online counselling platform for drug users to complement its offline services.
The Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA Ahmadu Giade in a statement made available online to techmoran said: "Online counselling will complement existing offline counselling platforms across our formations nationwide. We introduced online counselling to provide our services to people, especially youths at the comfort of their homes. Besides, it is easy to access, providing clients greater comfort and convenience. The confidentiality involved also makes whoever is seeking information to be open-minded and bond easily with counsellors."

"Already, the services can be accessed via email address and twitter handle @ndlea_nigeria. Very soon the Facebook account and tollfree phone calls will be activated to further expand our scope of operation."

Really great development. Let's hope it catches on and works as intended.
