MDCN increases the annual practising licence fees

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria has reviewed the annual practising licensing fees; as part of the resolutions at the 5th plenary meeting of the MDCN held on March 19.

From 2016, practitioners less than 10 years post-graduation will pay N15000 and those with more than 10 years post-graduation will pay N30000.

The increment is meant to help in sustaining the council.


The practicing fee for doctors with less than 10 years post-graduation experience as at May 2015 was N6000 and a mandatory development fee of N5000. Total payment N11000.

Full registration fees after housemanship is N20,000.
