Lagos State Government Opens World Class Cardiac and Renal Centre

The Lagos State Government has completed the building of its first world class cardiac and renal centre, at the Gbagada General Hospital.

The centre, billed for commissioning on Wednesday, is intended to alleviate the suffering of many patients who either had to travel out of the country for transplants or pay exorbitantly for expert care in the past.

Ten percent of the services rendered in the centre will be free, with the centre running on a public-private partnership.
