Subconscious Positive Spin On Drinking

It appears more people see alcohol consumption in a positive light than not with the recent research published in the journal Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research:
The 70 most popular YouTube videos had more than 330 million views between them with 79% of the videos associated with humour and 86% depicting active intoxication. Only 7% of the videos contained any reference to alcohol dependence. Most worrying was the fact that 24% of the videos featured motor vehicle use. With the enormous power social media wields, young and impressionable minds may get warped to seeing alcohol positively. The researchers say this is an opportunity for public health intervention.
