Top Story - Quick Test For Ebola

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) approved the first quick test for Ebola (The ReEBOV Antigen Rapid Test Kit) which is based on the detection of an Ebola protein. Test results are available within 15 minutes which is much shorter than the gene-based tests which take 12-24 hours. In trials, it correctly identified 92 percent of patients with Ebola and 85 percent of those not infected.
Hope this test helps save more lives.
